Absolutely horrible experience!! I go to Cancun 5-7 times a year for work and always stay at all inclusive resorts. This is the first time I've ever had to pay for room service and been limited to beverages in the room (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The fridge literally had a Pepsi, Pepsi Light (diet), orange, and 2 mini bottles of beer. I was told that was all I got for my 4 day stay. Buffet was horrible for all meals. I literally ate bread one night for dinner to feel full. The restaurants required a 24 hour prior reservation even though there was plenty of open tables when asking for a table. Staff was rude and acted like you were an inconvenience to them any time you needed anything.

Hotel was in good condition and in great location. Next door construction meant our panoramic view room’s one window had to stay closed all the time. Adjoining door meant noise from next door bothered us all evening. The buffet food and staff was great. All the other restaurants were fully booked the moment we arrived. Got on waitlist at Chinese restaurant and the food was sub par. We had Korean ramen and pad Thai and they weren’t remotely close to what they should have tasted. Portions were also tiny. The restaurant was half empty and yet fully booked.

Facility and service were great. Breakfast and lunch buffets were good but the buffet dinners were not that great except Mexican diner buffet. It’s hard to make reservations for restaurants, as the app to does not function. I liked that you can visit other Solaris resorts in area and they shuttle you there. Note if you want premium food and drinks you must be a gold member .

By far the worst hotel I ever been too!! I had never ever written a review for any place. But this time I feel that it’s right to show by point of view. I always read reviews but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. To begin with, they didn’t honored my reservations! I booked 3 rooms with king beds. They couldn’t honor it because there resort was “full” … then the guy tried to give me an upgrade for an ocean view for 100 dollars a night! Ridiculous! Especially with construction going on right next door. The bar closes at 11:50pm!!! Just have that in mind. The last buffet closes at 10pm. After that you will have to pay for room service of 5 dollars. The hotel and the rooms need a huge upgrade and normal maintenance. Please take the time and read through this. I’ve been to several resorts but nothing like this. Staff are friendly so no problem there. With this being said, I will never come back to this place!

The place is beautiful! The staff is excellent everywhere we went whether it was the bar, pool, restaurants, the staff was excellent! The rooms were clean as was the entire resort.
