Excellent
Lots of tasty restaurants nearby to choose from, all within walking distance. Or if you don't feel like heading out, the Olde Kings Arms also serve food.

Good
This hotel (pub with rooms) is located in Hemel Old Town. Really nice area. Good selection of restaurants to pick from if you don't want to eat in the pub - even though pub has good menu.

Good
Hemel itself has little to see or do, but it's a good base for the region around. Restaurants can get full, reservations are advised

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport

"Nice Hyatt for one night. Great check-in. Forgot my converter so front desk let me borrow one. Nice dinner (salmon dish + friend got the chicken). Both dishes were nice as was the Chardonnay. Be aware the bus from terminal 5 only comes once an hour (25 minutes past the hour) so we ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was £20. "

"This hotel is a few blocks from Paddington Station and so is very convenient for both trains and Underground. The staff was charming and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious, with several options, and was served by friendly people. It was on a street of beautiful historic houses (many of which are not hotels)."
"This is an old school 4 Star. Wow who knew room service still existed so well! Many 4 stars technically have it but it’s rather feeble in practice. This hotel still has it - enjoyed a good standard burger in my room:). Nice telly size and a bath too which was great for my sore back. Keep it up Tara you can keep your walk in showers other hotels- the Tara maybe a little old in places but it’s quiet, comfy and just what a 4 star should be "
