Nice little hotel in the heart of Paddington
A nice, small hotel in the heart of Paddington (London), conveniently located near Paddington train station where you can take the Elizabeth line back to Heathrow and other Tube/Underground metro lines to every corner of London. The hotel staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are small, but that’s standard in the majority of London hotels. No dining options in-house, but a ton of restaurants in the area to choose from. The price is good as well.

Clean but tired and no facilities.
The room was clean but very tired. It really needed a coat of paint and new carpet. Ceiling paper was peeling. The pillow was lumpy but I managed to find another which was fine. There were no refreshments in the room, not even a glass for water. It would have been nice to have a kettle and tea making facilities. No plug in the bathroom sink. The bed was comfy but up against a strange shelf thing which vibrated every time the door outside was shut. The stairs and doors on the stairs were dicey which my mum, who is disabled, struggled with. No fire exit instructions.

St Davids
Clean rooms, great location. There is no AC so I had to leave the window full open. This is not a problem but the large glass high rise in behind the building leaves it bright lights on all night. Also no elevator. It was a bit of a struggle to carry luggage up 3 flights of narrow stairs.
