Great location, small but comfortable room
My sister and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was located in a nice area with many casual bars and restuarants. It was a quick walk to lots of nightlife in Shinjuku and to Shinjuku station. The room was small but comfortable and they had free coffee in the lobby any time. Staff was friendly and spoke English quite well. Would recommend.

Still a good hotel that need some fixing
I have stayed multiple times in this hotel as a solo traveler as well as with family of 4 (booked 2 rooms). It has always been a pleasant experience with clean and comfortable rooms and everything you would expect from a typical 3-star Japanese hotel. However, our most recent stay, we realized the hotel really need some fixing especially in the room. I guess the hotel have been busy with very high occupancy rates that they forgot the room need fixing. Our room toilet's seat was not working. The second room have a some fixtures in the room and toilet that were broken were not fixed as well. Overall, I still enjoyed the location of the hotel, the complimentary self-service coffee at the lobby and the service staff are helpful. I remember this hotel have high ratings a few years ago and the ratings continue to drop due to the poor condition of the hotel. We hope the management will do some fixing before my next stay.

Budget travelers only
This hotel is pretty conveniently located. But compared to all the other hotels we stayed, it’s clearly far lower budget and less clean. Our bathroom had mildew and cracks in the walls, the window didn’t close all the way and the beds felt like a brick. Not bad if you just need a quick stay for a night and don’t plan to spend any time in the hotel. but would not recommend as part of a vacation.
