The staff overall were friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Other than one occasion where the person checking us in re-checked off soliciation emails upon sign in after i had un-checked those boxes so I wouldn't get unwanted emails - all staff were A .
They solicite you to take a "presentation" when you arrive. They say they will compensate you for this with a free massage or $70 USD. The massage is 40 minutes and a standard massage, my wife got this and said it was good. The $70 USD was not cash but "Iberostar dollars" and the equivalent of $70 USD and could be used at check out for incidentals or at one of the gift shops by the pool. There are two other gift shops on site but not sure if they accepted this cash equivalent.
The resort itself was nice, though the buildings near the lobby where the rooms were felt older and in need of an update. We also had two cockroaches in our room over the course of our 6 day stay. I think given the location there are simply going to be bugs and this didn't affect my enjoyment but my wife was not happy about it.
This is a family resort, but the rooms had lots of opportunities for a toddler to cause trouble or hurt themselves. From the tile and stucko bed board and floors to the mini fridge cabinets that are not lockable or child proof, I found the room overall to not be toddler friendly but maybe kid friendly.
There was more than one pool, an adult pool, a kids area, and a beach. Finding seating after 9 am would be a bit of a challenge.
