"This guest house was of passable value. It was inexpensive, had good car parking, and was close to where we needed to be, but the facilities were showing their age.
Staff were friendly (no fault on that front), and the welcome seemed genuinely warm.
However the room and fixtures were basic and old (e.g. old door keys were fiddly, basic lighting, old TV, no fridge).
Room layout was a bit awkward, and there was nowhere to place any of our suitcases, so they all had to just live on the floor....
