The St. Charles Tram is one of the oldest steadily operating tram lines in the world and a historic landmark of New Orleans. The line runs on St. Charles Avenue and is one of the busiest routes in the RTA system. If you take a ride on the St. Charles Tram, you’ll travel through Uptown and the Carrollton area towards the Mississippi River, passing many landmarks along the way.
