Uptown Sedona is the city’s old town as well as its most popular shopping district. The vibrant hub is perched above the banks of Oak Creek and offers a great mix of history, galleries, eclectic stores, and restaurants.

Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village
A picturesque village considered the ‘art and soul of Sedona’

Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village is a charming recreated Spanish Colonial-style village that was designed in the 1970s as an artists’ community. With narrow cobbled streets, flower-filled fountain courtyards and vine-covered stucco walls, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a traditional Mexican hacienda.
The plazas and patios are home to some 40 speciality shops, including high-end galleries, boutique clothing shops, and art stores selling handmade ceramics, weavings and top-notch jewellery. A Sedona institution for handwoven Navajo rugs

The family-run Garland’s Navajo Rugs sells a gorgeous selection of authentic Native American goods all made by the local Navajo tribespeople. The store is famous for having one of the largest collections of hand-woven contemporary and vintage Navajo rugs in the country. The rugs are made using naturally dyed yarns.
You'll also find traditional baskets, hand-carved Hopi katsina dolls, Navajo sand painting, Pueblo pottery, and jewellery. As the store's owners work directly with many different local artisans, there are products to suit all pockets.
