    Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village is a charming recreated Spanish Colonial-style village that was designed in the 1970s as an artists’ community.     The plazas and patios are home to some 40 speciality shops, including high-end galleries, boutique clothing shops, and art stores selling handmade ceramics, weavings and top-notch jewellery.     The family-run Garland’s Navajo Rugs sells a gorgeous selection of authentic Native American goods all made by the local Navajo tribespeople.
