Cheapest and best Vegas vacation I’ve ever had.
I couldn’t give 5 stars for cleanliness just because of the build up of scum that’s on the showers edges. It was like a 5/10 clean shower. Other than that AMAZING room, amazing customer service, the rest of the room was totally clean and smelled good. The maid service was great. I really loved everything here. Photos of food are from sushi ichiban, eureka!, and Siegel’s 1941. Seriously great restaurants all right next to the hotel. This set up is crazy, downtown Vegas is its own little town with EVERYTHING!

It was a non-smoking room. Although smelled of smoke. Heater control was from when they built the casino, wasnt able to regulate temperature. Need better windows, you can hear people talking on the strip.

Would not stay again
The cabana suites are in a poor condition - bathroom was dusty, dirty, towels and toiletries where of mediocre condition. The bedroom was incredibly dark with little lighting. The bed was pretty uncomfortable.

Horrible parking lot security guard
The evening I pulled into the Cortez Free parking lot my wife and I were stopped by the parking security guard. We felt was harassed by her. She ran out of the guard shack to stop us and treated us like crap because she wanted us to stop before proceeding, there was no gate or sign indicating we needed to stop. She then starts aggressively asking if we were guests and asked for id then mistakes my wife as a minor in the back seat and starts to tell us the rules for minors in the casino. First and last time staying their.

I'm not a gambler - I was on a road trip that took me through Vegas and I thought I'd try downtown. I can't comment on the casino, but the room was great and I enjoyed the old school vibe.

Jackhammers- Really
Both mornings I was woken up at 5:30 am by a terrible sound of jackhammers and sledgehammers. With only a few hours sleep needless to say I was torked. Call the the front office and was hung up on twice. Normally a good little place to stay when on Fremont.

Great location
We love the location to downtown. Everything is right there and very walkable. The restaurant is good. The only thing is that it is loud if your room faces Fremont Street.

Good grown-up fun!
We had a great room (king bed, on he corner) with a nice view. However, the coffee maker broke - twice! They were very quick to replace the coffee maker and keep me well supplied with coffee pods. The desk chair didn't go high enough (I had to work while there) but I was able to use the vanity space as a desk. It was a lovely downtown Las Vegas stay!

Stayed here because they had many 5 cent poker/keno machines but they took a lot of them out and only had them in this smaller room which was smoky and had an issue with homeless people.

Its a nice hotel/ casino ,the rooms are very nice, bed was comfortable but the room was pretty dirty ( floors and shower) the floor had vitamins from someone else the bathroom floor was filthy but the topper was a big black wade of someone elses black hair in shower AFTER we borh had just showered . I did go to desk and they were willing to have cleaners come in while we were gone ( they did) smelt cleaner but floors are still in need of more than a swiffer . Overall its nice just needs some cleaning .

So/so stay
On the website it states there is an airport transfer. There was no transfer. Also the AC/heater in the rooms thumps so loud when it turned off I thought someone was banging on our door. Barely slept. Once I turned it off to the remainder of our stay it was ok. I could hear all the rooms around us having that same issue though. It is 21 and over so if you are not a guest of the hotel don’t forget your ID they will ask for it. If you are a guest just show your wristband. Overall it was a nice stay. Some cool history about the hotel and really close to Fremont st.

Book it!
Love this hotel. Just make sure you book a room in the Tower. The rooms are newer and nicer. Very helpful staff. There’s a man that plays the piano in the lobby at certain times. Really nice extra touch. I recommend this hotel. The price is right and you can walk to Fremont Experience!
