Circus Circus is at the north of the strip. This area has always ben lees glamouress than further down the strip. Over the last couple of years this area has gone downhill with more beggars on the street. There is a new large hotel being built in this area which may improve the area. Circus Circus is seriously needing some TLC, there is a general feeling of being worn out throughout the hotel/motel. The motel I refer to is the Manor area of the hotel complex which is across the road from the main hotel. The reason I was staying here, was because I was going to the Convention Centre which is only a block away from the hotel, & being on a budget this is a reasonable option, (As long as you are aware of the down sides). Also the resort/hotel tax seems to be going up each year, this year I was charged $30 per day at Circus Circus, but others in other hotels were being charged $80 per day so it is better to check how much is being charged per day before getting a nasty surprise.
Worst hospitality ever. Spending an hour on the line for checking in come on this is not the way we are welcoming our guests in hospitality. Need to walk and cross the street to stay in my room seems like a joke but not. Be sure guys stay in a nice one on the strip anyway circus is charging you for resort fee not makes any difference 😉
Non pretentious clean hotel adjacent to all the action in Vegas. Probably worth to upgrade when booking for the extra comfort in the vast area of the establishment.
Kids very noisy. Lots of bass ball games on thanksgiving weekend and kids run riot up and down corridors...
Ideal location for us, as we could go for a walk comfortably, and was across the road from our favourite restaurant "the Pepper Mill". Hotel is very customer friendly.
renovation may help. Also, please make more of the resort non smoking as the resort should be for families and children and smoking is a real drag.
Hotel a little dated , skyrise tower room very comfortable and clean ,good casino and restaurants, easy access to freemont street and strip by deuce bus overall had a great stay and would return
Nice stay and very good staff. Trina at reception was wonderful and helpful. My room often smelled faintly of cigarettes which I don't understand since the guest rooms are non-smoking, but it could have come from surrounding hotel facilities which have a lot of smokers. A little noisy on some mornings.
Circus needs renovation.
Nice room. No view and we were on the 9th floor. Otherwise ok.
