Pro good location, restaurants nearby and friendly staff. The con breakfast needs a facelift to the continental breakfast. The hot menu omelett egg and sauage link for three days(ugh) a variety is needed. This was my first stay at La Quinta. The second con no hot water Christmas Week. Our hands were tied no hotel availability anywhere. No compensation of any kind. We did receive a call while driving to Coral Spring, Florida from Tampa hoping the situation would have charged. It didn't upon check-in. Just to say cold shower kick rocks.

The room had stains on the head board and the curtain that was in front of the closet. The towels smelled horrible. The staff was extremely nice but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location - Check-in/out policy
I recently stayed at this hotel. The location was great, and the staff were friendly. However, there were a couple of issues. First, they charge a $30 minimum fee for early check-ins, even if it's just an hour before the standard time. This was posted at the front desk, but I was surprised by the charge. I arrived from a hotel in Miami that allowed a late checkout for no extra fee. I was hoping to time my arrival so I could check in at 2pm if a room was available. Also, the elevator was out of service, and despite asking for help with my luggage, no one was available to assist.

Being honest
It was a basic experience. The corridor carpet was dirty and had a bad smell. Luckily the room smelt better and was cleaned daily. Breakfast was very basic and uninteresting. The lift was out of service for the duration of our stay so we had to use the stairs, which was in a poor state. The staff were pleasant and helpful though.

The hotel itself was fine. But at check in ,there was a sign on counter that the elevator was not working. We are older, in our 70's with health issues,knees,back, etc., and having to navigate stairs was not good. We should have been told upon booking about elevator situation and would have chosen a different hotel.
