Don’t Stay Here if You Like Sleep or a Shower
Do not stay here if you plan to sleep or shower. The shower would barely turn on and didn’t drain, a bath towel had spots of I don’t even want to know, and they had no extra pillows, despite the check in staff telling us to just ask if we needed more pillows or blankets. The noise all hours of the night and morning was insane. We heard laughing yelling and literally jumping and running until 3AM and then the trash compactor at 7AM. The walls are literally paper thin and they have no procedures in place when people are screaming and partying all hours. The curtains don’t close and bright city lights shine in your face all night too. It’s a shame because the rooms are designed in such a great layout, and the theming is fun throughout. It would be a great value as well if you could actually get sleep like you’re supposed to, but you could not pay us to stay here again. It was that terrible.

Great Universal Stay
Great stay in a clean well maintained property. Did not feel the scale and size. We reserved the 2 bed family suite and suited us fine - although would have liked a relaxing chair. I had tried to message the hotel about an early check in and received no responses on more than one occasion. The chat feature worked better but the response would have benefitted from more personalised thought eg hurricaine in area, i was out my previous property early and had enquired about possible ealy arrival - very administrative response required. On check in the desk clerk would have benefitted from a greater awareness of the property as i asked for a volcano bay view room and was advised that should be possible only to gather once outside my room i was on the wrong side of tye building. Other queries on the texting service were dealt with brilliantly without fail and we found the food arrangements very good with items cooked to order - felt different to the mass catering experience i had last year at cabana bay. All in all, fabulous stay, no experience with noise other reviews mention and the Universal transport service fantastic as ever,!
