Also the dressing gown supplied was far too small and had 2 both in same size. I am 6ft3 and 17 stone would be fine but the average male but I am a big guy. Other than that can’t fault it. "

Having just recovered from surgery on her wrist, I mentioned this, and a need for additionsl pillows, as a special request and everything from The George - from response time to accomodation - was five star. Breakfast (both continental and a la carte) was one of the best we've had and the bed was one of the comfiest. We were only here for two nights for a wedding but wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend ataying...

"Lovely hotel. Room on 1st floor which was nice but had inter connecting door. Asked to move rooms but the staff couldn’t move me due to hotel being full.

a bit outdated but does the job! We waited a hour to be checked in, and were told our room wasn’t ready. We then waiting further time while the attendant cleaned the room approx 30 mins. Wasn’t what is expected of a IHG hotel.
