A very pleasant stay
We only stayed one night at the Leonardo Hotel Cheltenham but it was an extremely comfortable one. The greeting at Reception when we arrived was warm and sincere. The room was fine with no problems and everything seemed to have been replaced recently. We swam twice in the hotel pool which was very pleasantly warm. The steam room and saunas were very good too. The cooked breakfast could have been a little hotter but the quality and quantity of the food could not be faulted. All in all a very acceptable stay and we will return when we are in the area again. Thank you.

Great for a short stay
Overnight stay with my daughter, aged 6. Comfortable beds, room a little warm but soon fixed by opening window. Daughter loved pool which was nicely heated. Nice touch with a kids activity pack that had a cute teddy bear. Breakfast was very nice, good choice and excellent service. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel but with a few bad points
Lovely hotel, close to town centre (cost about £10 in a taxi) comfortable beds. Unfortunately the spa was disappointing. When checking in to the hotel we were not told that the sauna was unavailable or that swimming lessons would be on, we only spent about 10 minutes in a very noisy pool and left. The spa pool was the main reason we booked the hotel so left very deflated with the short amount of time we used it. We also paid for breakfast, staff were very accommodating but the breakfast wasn’t to our taste, especially the coffee.
