BEWARE NO PARKING
The holiday cottage is fabulous, great location and really well equipped. Only one complaint about the actual property being the bed mattress in both bedrooms is soooo uncomfortable. We tested both and in the end used the second duvet as a mattress topper, but still had sore hips and a bad back all week! There is a lot of flights of stars in the cottage, so you need to be pretty mobile to stay here. Our big complaint is that the property is advertised as having parking! Parking should mean having access to a dedicated parking space 24/7. This is why we chose this cottage. Be warned this cottage has NO parking! A permit is provided to park for 1 hour to load...if you can get a space. A scratch card provided allows you to park for 3 hours only, over half a mile away, again only if you can get a space! Obviously on Goth Weekend these are full, and unless you want to spend your whole holiday watching the clock and moving your car around town, you will need to find somewhere you can park unrestricted, Be prepared to walk a long way, never need access to your car, and never need to move it as you will loose the spot!
This cottage should not be advertised as having parking, it is misrepresented. It has none, and should be advertised as such. It is a shame because the cottage itself is lovely, despite the uncomfortable beds!
