Good location, terrible parking... rooms are incredibly dated, bathrooms are awful, beds uncomfortable.. friendly staff, decent breakfast.

Great stay, perfect location, lovely hotel and room
1-night trip

8/10

Nice hotel, good value, nice and clean, seemed slightly understaffed with bar being closed and reception occasionally manned. Comfortable bed, reasonable wifi and clean and good shower once I’d worked out how to get hot water.
1-night trip

2/10

A tired hotel that is badly in need of investment. Do not stay there. I travel a lot for business [2-3 times a month] and have never stayed in a worse place. Staff were great hotel was a disaster.

Having been born and brought up in Chester I thought it might be nice to stay at the Blossoms ! Breakfast average to poor Noises from next door at the Marlborough who have a licence to 4 am ! Looking forward to dining - sorry there is no restaurant Overall all disappointing

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location.
1-night trip

6/10

Lovely staff and great location. However the cleanliness was poor especially in common areas there was a lot of dust and cobwebs and on the final morning I pulled back my bed sheet to find a heavily stained mattress protector. Also we had breakfast at the hotel on the final morning - the continental part was not as advertised - there was no fresh fruit or pastries.
3-night trip

4/10

Unbelievably dated, can’t actually believe it was a 4 star hotel. Probably was in the 90s. Needs a drastic face lift.
1-night trip

8/10

Hotel in excellent location , very central to Chester and walkable for everything . Room fine with hairdryer and iron . Was a bit hot as the windows wouldn’t open
1-night trip

2/10

Extremely poor service, reception rarely manned, dated rooms in desperate need of refurbishment. Rooms not cleaned whilst staying and towels had to be requested. As for breakfast this was a total joke, items missing from breakfast as they ran out early and attitude of the restaurant staff was disgraceful. On raising the complaint to receptionist, it was talking to a brick wall, no acknowledgment of the issues we raised. Definitely won’t be staying here again.
2-night trip

Very nice hotel bit dated needs some small attention, staff where really lovely very kind ,

Pleasant stay but there was no kettle in my room
1-night trip

8/10

Hotel was great if a little dated and in need of a little maintance. The room was clean and comfortable but thre were some chips in the bath enamel and a broken window pane in the historic window. Staff were great. Hotel met all my needs comfy and central
1-night trip

6/10

Good location but the hotel is very tired and needs modernisation it’s not the cleanest dusty staircase and light fittings, carpet threadbare and grimes bathroom with no hot water, a cold shower first thing wasn’t great! The breakfast was a good standard and all staff very friendly.
1-night trip

8/10

Property ideally centrally located. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Room could do with an update, towel rail connection held together with tape, dusty in some areas, generally clean, no remote for tv but can be controlled by buttons on the side of the tv, this gives you restrictive control.
1-night trip

8/10

Directly in the city centre. Nice design of common spaces. Room a little outdated. Single room not big, but okay. There was noise from a ventilation outside of my room. Very good breakfast (payed before 12£, in the morning 16 £ Continental, 22 £ full.
1-night trip

8/10

Exceptional value for money! Stayed in a suite which was huge and also meant the kids and adults had separate but adjoining rooms. Location is excellent with cheap parking Very close by. Very clean and quiet, staff were all lovely and kids got a free breakfast which was very nice. Only slight issue was a lack of hot water when trying to use the shower. You won't find better value for your money in Chester.
1-night trip

10/10

very good hotel stay there if I’m in Chester
3-night trip

4/10

Bedroom was very dusty in areas especially behind the chair and a paper towel was screwed up in the corner. Lamp shades full of dust and one of the shades had a stain on it which looked like blood. The other shade was ripped. Bath mat had a large dark stain on it too. We were moved to another room for the second night which was a ‘deluxe suite’. The shades still very dusty with dirty marks. The chest of drawers were dusty with some hairs as well in the drawers.
2-night trip

8/10

Very noisy room towards the Main Street due to no double glazing on windows. Breakfast was very disappointing with very little choice for continental breakfast
