Great family week
We had a very pleasant stay as a family (couple + 2 teenagers). The only drawback is to pay extra for wifi.

Exceptional
Perfect way to start our vacation
This was the perfect way to start our Punta Cana vacation! We couldn't arrive until 9:30 pm and didn't want to"waste" our first day at the Hard Rock All inclusive resort. So we stayed at the Four Points and or was excellent. They have a phone just after baggage and before you het to the taxi place that dials directly to the hotel. We waited 5-10 minutes for the free shuttle to the hotel. Quick ride over and a cheerful greeting by Cherwyn, who answered all our questions. The room was clean, the bed comfortable... just perfect for what we needed. They called a taxi for us and we were able to get to Hard Rock by 10:30 am.

This contemptuous attitude probably comes from GM.
Travel circumstances forced me to have to book there late in the evening. The front desk staff were so rude, condescending, openly laughing at me, the guest. Mocking and laughing that my reservation had been made just an hour or two before my arrival. Making no effort to conceal their disrespectful attitude.

This hotel is 5 mins walk from Terminal B at Punta Cana airport, so a perfect resting place after a long flight. There is also a shuttle bus which came within 5 mins of being called. The hotel is standard for this type of price, it has a decent pool and also decent buffet breakfasr

I have been to this property on several occasions with out issue. But on this occasion they did not provide what I reserved. I have been taking groups to the Dominican Republic for the last 8 years. Students doing work with remote villages to install clean water systems and improve healthcare and education opportunities. I made reservations at the Sheraton as a final night treat. I simply ask for rooms with 2 beds. Upon arrival they indicated that no problem the rooms were in the process of being cleaned and that we should come back in about 2 hours. When we returned they informed us that there were no double rooms, only single rooms. They indicated that a large group had come in and taken all the double rooms. So my students could sleep on a rollaway bed or on a couch. But since it was after 5. I had no choice but to take this solution. I spoke with the management and they said that booking through HOTELS.Com did not guarantee a double room, that it was only a preference and was left to the discretion of the hotel to provide the room type. I called HOTELS.COM and after about 20 minutes and 3 transfers i got an agent who indicated they could find us another hotel about 20 minutes away. By this time it is after 6pm and by the time I collected my group and transported them to the new hotel it would have been after 7 or 8 pm. With a mid morning flight this did not seem feasible. I found the Sheraton management and Hotel.com service to be less than satisfactory.
