Dissaointed had to pay £14 for one night parking. Guy serving at reception was effective but not very smiley / congenial. Young girl in the bar was excellent. Attentive active smiley and chatty. Breakfast was good but no black pudding in the land that perfected it.

Excellent check-in experience. I asked for a certain type of room and they did their best to accommodate. Although the hotel is a bit 'Bangy' the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The corridors and rooms are looking a bit dated now but there is a major refurb going on that should sort that. Perhaps they can put soft-close bedroom doors on as well. Parking for residents is a rip-off.
