This is a great location. We walked all around to the marina and all over Duvall street. Key West is only 2 miles by 4 miles. There are great restaurants all around. One day we rented a golf cart to see more!

No need for a rental car. 1 uber to property from airport and walked everywhere from there which is great for us. Staff was awesome. Quiet and safe (locked gate to property with easy code). Continental breakfast was on time each day with plenty of food, but the only negative comment is that it could have been a better quality for the price. Equivalent to a lower quality hotel chain.

Ambrosia was lovely. We stayed in the parrots perch 103 room and we were SO happy that we did. It’s on the second floor and shares no walls so we didn’t hear our neighbors. It’s extremely expensive, but for us at the end of our Florida vacation, it was worth the price. Staff was great as we were allowed to check in early and check out late.

We booked a stay at the Ambrosia house, we received a room at the Ambrosia Annex, which is across and down the street. The suite was small and in poor condition. The floors were slanted, the window units were loud, the tv was 12 inches and picture was cut off around the edges. The view was awful (see pictures). The breakfast was microwaved frozen pancakes and cereal. The get to the amenities, we had to walk through the rain, and flooded streets. Staff told us they couldn't help us with the issue, told us to contact hotels.com. Then ignored hotels.com (who did their best to help). After two days of repeated calls they told hotels.com that we could talk to them. So we went back in to talk to them, and were told wait another day and contact the manager instead. The room was on par with what I would expect for $75. Not the almost 400 a night we paid. Outlets were so loose chargers fell out of the wall. I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstance.
