An "executive" room is not defined by a couple of bags of crisps and a bottle of water. Room 33, paint peeling around windows and signs of damp on bathroom wall. Only tepid water available in the morning due to "Boiler Issues", and the noise from "mechanical services" in this room throughout the night beggars belief. Was woken up 5 times by the cacophony of rushing water, valves, banging of plant and goodness knows what else, really really loud, at one point I thought someone was trying to break into the room. Generally lovely people, particularly Eva at reception, but this is a root and branch management issue, I suggested on departure that the general manager should spend a night in the room to experience how bad the noise is. I doubt that they will take me up.
