Can not fault this hotel
I think this is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in! The building is absolutely beautiful and with its 195 years of history I found it very intriguing. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and called up to check we were happy with the room shorty after we arrived. The room was perfect (no5) with the most comfortable bed. The breakfast was all served to you and faultless. There was plenty of space to park, for free and the ground were very well kept. I can not fault this hotel and didn’t want to come home 😂 It’s a brilliant location too with the town centre and hall of Cornwall being only a 10 min walk. We will definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay. Only problem was the room wasn’t heated and we couldn’t get the radiator to work. Had to ask for a portable heater.

A very comfortable stay
The room was no 24. A junior suite. Very nice room. Warm and cosy. Bathroom had some signs if wear. Shower very slippery. Overall a nice comfy room snd comfy bed. Disappointed with menu ! Expected more choice and better quality & presentation. Great to have a breakfast cooked and not buffett. Lovely staff, pleasant & helpful.

My stay was amazing I would recommend to anyone. Staff were lovely. The whole place felt like going back in time by it’s history but it was maintained to high standard. Very clean and lovely decoration. I felt so comfortable and so well looked after. Please go and see for yourself that your have a great time. Food lovely too. And the gardens well they were fabulous.
