We had a lovely relaxed night away for our anniversary. A nice quiet spot by the river and the hotel on the whole was great. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. We had dinner in the bar restaurant which was all excellent, except the burger my husband ordered which wasn't as nice as expected. Overall would definitely recommend.

Disappointing staff attitude
Lovely place but evening staff very indifferent and actually quite rude. Completely ignored us in the bar when we were waiting to be served - the girl behind the bar just walked off and left us standing there. In the end instead of ordering and eating our evening meal at the Priest House we went to the nearby Chinese takeaway as we got fed up with being ignored by the staff. The breakfast staff were much more helpful but we were very disappointed in the way we were treated in the evening.

Weekend stay for a Wedding Celebration
The Priesthouse is set in tranquil and beautiful surroundings. The views are astounding and very picturesque. We stayed in the cottage and it had a lovely and traditional feel about it. Shower was very powerful and plenty of hot water, the bed was very comfortable. The only downside we could not get WIFI connection in the cottage room, everywhere else not a problem, The breakfast was very satisfying but the wait for a table was a bit slow and the order taking and service was very slow, maybe if we had went to breakfast slightly earlier it may not have been a problem. This would not put me off staying and would still recommend Priesthouse to anyone else. I would return without hesitation.

Excellent value for money.
One night stay, ideal location for me and my morning meeting. Hotel bar etc is nice, rooms are basic but do the job. Wi-Fi is good for emails etc but I had issues streaming the game, but not a major issue! Gym on site is really good too - excellent value for money!
