Little gem in Skipton

From the moment of arrival in the secure car parking area to the outdoor seating, through to the dining room and busy bar it was all great. All very clean and bright and welcoming. As were the staff, a great little find. Its a bit like the 'Tardis' inside. (Dr Who)

Great stay to attend a nearby wedding.

A beautiful room, which was exceptionally clean. Breakfast choice was great and their black pudding really is the best ewe will ever have! Fortunate to be able to get a table for friends staying nearby to join us for a fantastic meal! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect!!!!

Absolute perfection - such a friendly, welcoming space - rooms are compact but so charming, comfortable and has everything you need! Food just wow!! The staff were always smiling, made you feel like you had known them forever! Cannot recommend this place enough 💙

8/10 Very good

Actually stayed for 2 nights! Big bonus was secure car parking at the rear of the building a token is required from the bar! Comfortable Room no 7 overlooking main st! It’s a vibrant hotel very busy quality food and nice outdoor seating. Children & Dogs welcome! My breakfast both days was delicious, my partner had an issue with his today he ordered scrambled eggs mushrooms & beans! The scrambled eggs were weird flat tasted of cheese runny he couldn’t eat them, so did mention this to the waitress who to be fair offered to replace them but my decided not too bother !
Weird scrambled eggs
Excellent bar choices

Room was very small and a very small shower. However it was very quiet even with the window constantly open because of the heat outside. The bed was very comfy, and the flask of fresh milk for the coffee was a very nice change from the small cartons as you get in most places. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good and with a wide choice. However I did notice that some of the yoghurts were actually 3 or 4 days past their use by date. I am sure that this was just an oversight as everything else was very good service and quality. There was a nice restaurant and bar with several real ales from the local brewery on every evening

Excellent as always

Stayed a few times, always excellent. Rooms, food, beer, staff, can’t fault anything. Not cheap, but worth it. Evening meal was excellent, restaurant quality as opposed to pub grub.

Very enjoyable stay. Very friendly staff. Lovely old pub. Warm comfortable room but really quite small and being a very old building not very soundproof. Great location.
