I stayed at your property January 9th. The room (a king) was at the end of the hall on the 4th Floor. I booked through hotels.com.
When I arrived I noticed that the tap in the tub was running….not dripping, running. I called the desk to alert them to the problem. Even with the door closed, it was exceptionally noisy. I also mentioned my concern for the water bill. The response was that there was nobody available to deal with it and that I should put towels in the tub to mitigate the noise. I had already done that, so I requested to be moved.
The clerk said that there were no other rooms available. He offered a refund. I said “fine”.
A while later, the desk guy called me and asked if I had used the room. It was quite late by this time so I was confused by this, as you might imagine. The clerk then said that he could only offer a partial refund. Mmmmmm…. At this point I was exhausted and just wanted to get some sleep. I did not discuss the amount.
I turned up the fan to drown out the water running. It was better than the water running, but still way too much noise to sleep properly.
In the morning, I discovered that the water in the shower was cold. This really put the frosting on the cake! Because of the poor sleep, I got up later than I would have liked. So, I was in a rush to get the shuttle to the airport. There was a line to check out, so I did not confirm that the refund had been done. To date, I have not seen it on my credit card.
