Stayed here recently for one night. Booked a deluxe room. The room was very spacious. Beds very comfortable. Huge bathroom with double shower and bath tub. Kettle, nespresso, bathrobe, slippers, ironing board. Rooms quiet.Slight negative was the bulb was gone in the floor lamp and the paint in the bathroom ceiling was peeling. Spotlessly clean. Reception staff polite and helpful. Super location. Did not use any of the facilities in the hotel so cannot comment. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes. Would I stay here again? Yes.
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were lovely. The location was brilliant. But the bedroom was small and there was no wardrobe space. and we were staying for a week so we had live out of the suitcase ☹️ Also you had to pay £15 each if you wanted to use the pool I thought it was a bit expensive !!
not great staff lacking in customer services
This hotel is lovely and in a really great, central location. The staff are friendly and willing to help. Our room was really spacious, everything you need like hairdryer, fridge and good sizeds bathroom since there were 4 girls using it! A few minor complaints would be; we weren't told upon arrival that if we wanted to use the pool/sauna etc. we were meant to book a time. There happened to be enough space when we went down but it very easily could have been too busy. Also, there 2/3 times where our door was opened by a member of staff who thought our room was empty. The one main downside was that there was no window that could be opened in the room and this mean it got very very warm. There was A/C but the lowest temperature is 18 which is still too high when there are a few people in the room.
Amazing and ever so helpful staff.food service was always very good and brought by very friendly staff.big and comfy bedrooms and very nice modern bathrooms. Was sad the spa was fully booked so i couldnt get any of the services on offer. The only bad thing was the bathroom fixtures werent very fitted and came off in my hand resulting in water everywhere and the remote control wasnt cleaned in awhile as had a layer of dust on it.Will not let those minor things take away from a amazing and beautiful staff.location was perfect also two mins from the high street.highly recommend this hotel.Staff should be given some praise as they couldnt be more helpful
Very nice hotel. A bit disappointed we had to pay £10 pounds to check out at 1pm but the other two rooms in our party got it Complimentary.
Could have done with a window to open in the bed room for some air !!
Afraid to say that this was the worst stay we've ever had here. We have stayed at this hotel about 4 times and thought it would be nice to break up the Xmas slog at home (We live in Liverpool about 3 miles away from the hotel). We booked it mainly because it stated that the Spa facilities were available (Tier 2 Lockdown at this point). When we arrived we were told spa was closed (other hotels had stated this on their booking pages as im sure it was pivotal information) and there was nothing we could do. Hotel bed was horrendously uncomfortable, to the extent that my back is still sore at time of writing this review (5 days ago) and the pillows were a joke, just deflated to thin wafers as soon as your head touched them. Sad really, as this hotel held a special place in our hearts for my fiance and myself.
Our stay couldn’t have started off better. Location is great, reception is very smart and the guy checking us in was exceptional. Sadly things went very downhill from there. The spa was the primary reason we booked this hotel only to be told it was £25 EXTRA PER PERSON when we went to use it. I checked the listing on Hotels.com and also their site and you have to look very hard, past the numerous mentions of the spa as a feature of the hotel to discover in very hidden small print there is a charge. Totally ruined the trip. Worse was still to come. Breakfast on the first morning of our stay was so shambolic that after waiting 15 mins without service we left and ate elsewhere. Beyond the shocking service what really concerned me was the lack of any Covid safety measures during breakfast - tables 1m apart, a very full unventilated dining room and done as a buffet with all the resultant risks. This lack of care and attention isn’t just unacceptable it’s reckless. I wish I could recommend this hotel but based on a mixture of gouging customers for additional charges, a failure to deliver a halfway decent breakfast and worst of all a lack of Covid safety I can’t say anything other than find somewhere else to stay as there are plenty of better hotels in Liverpool.
Was ok breakfast not that good to be honest But hotel still nice as to be expected from a Hilton Wasn’t the best Hilton I have stayed actually It was the worst one for overall and I stay away all year round Sunday to Thursday normally in a Hilton so I think my review on this one is backed up with how much I stay out in them
