A nice little hotel for a night away!
We stayed overnight in March ‘23 originally emailed hotel about a double room as only twin available but we’re told we couldn’t change upon arrival we were put into a double room so happy anyway! The room was clean and a good size! Comfortable beds! The water in the shower a bit temperamental so once you get a good temp don’t touch it or you’ll be frozen or scalding mid shower! But not an issue really! We paid for breakfast which was fine, very busy and only a small corner but can’t complain for the price. It ends at 10am and around 9 it was very busy! Breakfast is a wee buffet style help yourself, toast cereal and a coffee machine also available. A bit out of town but around £10 in taxi or Uber Overall would stay again.

Ideal base just outside Liverpool
We needed a base for a trip to Liverpool, although it’s a little further out than ideal, the price was a fraction of what was being charged in the city. The stay was really good, no faults at all. Not overly flashy but clean, the staff were great and breakfast was also really good. No real negatives at all.

Fit for purpose overnight stay - excellent staff
My stay was purely an overnight stop on a long journey, so 'no frills' functionality was what I needed. There were just two staff working when I arrived and into the night. Kelly and her colleague were both excellent, friendly and enaging. They dealt with any enquiry or issue promptly and efficiently and are both a credit to the organisation. My room was clean and tidy and perfectly adequate for my needs. The food at dinner and breakfast, while not exceptional, was adequate and represented good value for money. Overall, my stay met all my needs and I would stay again.

Far exceeded our expectations
Booked for convenience visiting friends near Knowsley village. We had been concerned when the area was in the news but there was no need. At every point, the welcome, condition of the exterior, lobby area, our room, the breakfast, the maid service and general ambiance was a pleasant surprise. Extremely good value, great base for travel and absolutely no complaints. We will definitely return.

One time only.
We initially booked a Holiday Inn hotel but this obviously changed in name. We were not advised of this! The arrival at reception was strange in terms of “not having our booking” to “oh here it is” to “it’s just one night”. Eventually they accepted the details showing 2 nights, 2 rooms & 3 adults/2 children. We only received the bedding for one bed at 10:30pm having checked in at 3.30pm! They apparently were “understaffed & busy”. The rooms needed some attention with mould on the window and shower and the diy works very poor. We were advised that there is a charge for breakfast but as we booked before the name change “they would accept our details”! It wasn’t a pleasant welcoming!!
