2/10 Poor

I saw the awful room said no. Was shown an equally awful room and told as I had booked online no cancellation was allowed. I tried contacting Expedia on the app and got nowhere. The rooms I saw were not acceptable to be called hotel. Hostel rooms maybe. Really disappointed with Expedia for having this on their site. You cannot be listening to customers. I had checked the reviews on site on saw 7 and 10 . Don't know where they stayed but not in the same place I feel.

Place was cheap which was good, ok for money I suppose though cleanliness was iffy as were amenities in room eg socket not working, tap iffy, window blinds really dirty… Heating was definitely working, room was piping hot lol

Early check and no charge. Small double room which is good enough for a night with ensuite. Good electric shower. Road facing with no curtains just blinds. One window had no handle to close it properly. Looked like the radiator was only on one bracket and had alot of dust all along the top. Tea making facilities were there with an old lcd tv on the wall. Clean bed with a couple of pillows. The car park is charged at £5 but the cost is not mentioned on the advert just that charges apply.

The outside area surrounding this hotel was surrounded by Rats! Hotel reception was very run down. Room could have done with a good clean Would not recommend.
Christine, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The hotel needs updated wallpaper coming off walls, mould on walls, toilet door nearly off. The room was tiny and too warm.

The property was not maintained windows didn’t shut properly blinds held down with nails. Bathroom door couldn’t be closed properly as no handle on inside lift didn’t work heating was on all night which made it hard to sleep. And because windows were badly fitting road noise was bad not recommended

I feel I sleep in toilet very bad smell comes from mattress disgusting staff very bad behaviour

8/10 Very good

It was a cheap dive with aged room which was expected for the price. But there's this flash lobby with leather lounges and a pool table. It was so out of place compared to the value priced rooms. Actually would have been a pretty fancy place in it's day but it's dated and basic in a cheap end of town. Definitely met expectations though if you're after affordable stay with the basics.
Lucas, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The room wasn’t ready for check in time, despite us arriving 1 1/2 hours later. The locks in the room didn’t work. There was 0 plugs in the room. The whole room was of poor quality. Bed was like sleeping on bricks. The walls were dirty. The breakfast was advertised but not provided. The communal bathroom at check in doesn’t have a lock and the light flashes. Definitely not going back again!!!!
Emily, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The bathroom taps provided hot water only there was creaking floorboards above our room all night wasn’t near town like stated the room was freezing no heating on and the Wi-Fi and tv connection was terrible

2/10 Poor

The owners do not deserve your business, this is NOT a hotel it is a hovel of a place which is very rundown and lacks any level of customer service. Please avoid at all costs. Dirty and unmaintained rooms, no amenities such as a bar or restaurant. Expedia should consider de listing this property.

Extremely Disappointed
Don't ignore the reviews!! I did and so wish I hadn't. Filthy hotel room - won't be returning.

6/10 Good

The toilet was situated in between the shower and wall with very little room to sit properly. Also the taps on the sink moved when i opened them and didnt easily close. They needed maintenance.
Abdul, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Mattress was not good. Can hear the springs, carpet very old,not clean. Very dark in corridors, stairs, compact showers. For the cheap price they can still do a lot to bring good customers
kamaljeet, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Lift not working. Room dirty with a broken window and noisy light. £5 deposit for room key oddly. Drink/crisp vending machine empty. Police called to deal with local antisocial behaviour twice during a 3 night stay.
Neil, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Disappointing and would not recommend.
For £120 I would have expected a lot more. The room was very small, the blinds were dirty and unserviceable, there was wallpaper falling off the wall, breakfast was not included……I could continue. I would not recommend this hotel unless they reduce their charge to £60 a night.
