Exceptional 10.0
Excellent
It is a fabulous hotel. Location, decor, staff and food. The only negative is small but the room we had was long and narrow and the TV was almost impossible to hear but that was only a small thing. The coffee machine and separate shower and bath were luxury.

Saturday night out in Liverpool
Lovely hotel with a larger room and bathroom. Excellent location could not fault any of it. Had a oldey worldly feel about it

Very Good 8.0
Would go back
Nice hotel generally, a few small problems at 1st but soon put right as nothing was too much trouble for the staff, especially shaun who went above and beyond for us, the grab and go breakfast could have been better, there were paninis and juice etc but no cereal or toast, which we thought could have been easy enough to sort, but they did their best with minimal staff and the present situation so overall good, would definitely go back when in full swing

Fair 4.0
disappointed
air con didn't work and they couldn't fix it and left us in the room, the noise from outside is bad as in the city centre, the windows don't keep the noice out, and you can't see out the windows as that dirty, really disappointed, but for 90 pounds for the night the location was good don't expect a nice hotel tho

Highly recommended
Nothing was too much trouble. Liam went above & beyond in sourcing a portable air conditioning unit. 5 star service. Hotel is in a great location too.

Poor start, got better
I was a gold plus stay at this hotel.... this meant nothing to the staff at the hotel!!! We arrived and checked in. All fine. Went up to our room which was quite “compact”! I had asked for an upgrade as it was my birthday treat, and I stay in hotels all week every week with my job. Baring in mind the Covid limitations in hotels at the moment, we found hair in the sink and bath, and a large smear of something down the shower wall, and someone’s shampoo in the wash stuff holder. We complained and it was cleaned again while we went out for tea. When was got back, I went to use the toilet, and the lid fell off as I lifted it. We went and complained and asked for a change of room. The following day we were upgraded to a suite (after being told we were in the best rooms). The suite was much more pleasant and made our break much more enjoyable. If I was hotels.com I would be looking into their customers getting the deals they say they are providing and the hotels are aware of these details up front. Grab and go breakfast Basic food In The restaurant Probably wouldn’t go back or recommend
