Avoid this hotel
service very poor as there were not enough staff. Staff said they worked 16 hours a day. Food was average at best. Rooms not cleaned until late in the day and even then only after calling for service. Reception staff and manager full of excuses but no action. Only when I refused to pay a small extra charge did the general manager come out and they refused to let us leave without paying the extra. This hotel is not the level of any other Leading Hotels Group and gives that group a bad name.

We booked a room on the ground level, ocean view with our own private plunge pool. The pool did not hold water and we could not use it. The view to the ocean was blocked by bushes so it would have been better if we had booked the second floor and not paid the additional for the plunge pool. Staff at the restaurant were slow and we had several times where my meal was served well before my partner's meal arrived. Do not book the private transfer from the hotel as the return trip is via shuttle and we ended up at the airport 4 hours ahead of our return flight. Not going back. This was a disappointing trip for the cost.
