Terrible check in
Check in was terrible. The app didn't work to unlock the doors. The only way to contact them is thru the app so you have to drop the call to try their suggestions and then call again when still doesn't work. Eventually a resident let us in. Same issue at room. Turns out it only works with an iphone- had to have someone else get app enter our info and unlock for us. Took over 30 mins for us to finally get in. And the guy on the phone was rude and unhelpful: courtney

Great stay, didn’t care for the pillows tho but that’s ok. Frustrating with the no contact checkin. I had to wait til someone left the building to get inside to get a hold of the texting number to get someone to activate the no contact checkin. Wasn’t able to leave a message when calling for help. Glad we arrived at a time when people were still out and about.

2/10 Poor

Horrible, avoid at all costs.
Room and location were decent, price was steep for both. Check in, pre-check in, etc were awful. First they require a selfie for pre check in or they will cancel your booking. The front door is locked with no way to be let in, requiring you to download an app that does not work. No front desk, no help. 2 of 3 elevators broken, none accessible from the ground floor. Horrendous. Honestly the experience ruined the whole trip and we were standing on the street for half an hour at 2am as a result. Avoid it at all costs.

This is our second visit with The Guild; first in Dallas and now in Cincinnati. The two properties are very different. The building is nice. The apartment is nice. We experienced the same problem with both properties: the door codes did not work properly. This was a real problem in Cincinnati since it was below freezing. The drainage on the toilet was slow, requiring multiple flushes to complete the job. The area was nice and convenient. There’s plenty of paid parking close by. There’s lots to do close by.

Great place and location, we were able to walk almost anywhere downtown. Older building, suites are modernized and very comfortable with high ceilings and big windows. Staff was always a text or phone call away and very responsive.
