The property is a work in progress. It would be ideal for people with outdoors interests like fishing or hiking. There is a stream which goes through the property. The rooms are basic and the decor dated. The restaurant served good food.

Good hotel for a night or two
Very warm welcome and her English was great which was helpful. I arrived very late & soaked through having just fixed a puncture on my motorbike so it was a relief. I missed the dinner service but she managed to get some food together for me which was more than welcome Local shops are very strange, hardly ever open and the “super” market doesn’t sell any type of bread. There was a choice of 8 shops/restraunts but none are interested in being open most of the time. But all small things & there is plenty of charm and quiet in the local area

Quand je suis arrivée devant l'hôtel, je n'ai pu que constater qu'il était fermé pour travaux alors que personne ne m'en avait avisé. J'étais en randonnée itinérante ce qui était particulièrement pénible! Cette absence d'information du propriétaire et de la plateforme montre une absence totale de professionalisme.

Havre de paix
Le Durzon est blotti au fond de son grand parc, à la sortie de Nant. L'endroit est enchanteur. Marie Odile nous accueille avec le sourire (derrière son masque, bien sur), nous sert les repas, et partage sa connaissance du coin. Quand à son mari, il nous cuisine de bons petits plats. Chaque diner est excellent et different du precedent. Un délice. Le restaurant est agreable avec large cheminée. Les chambres, dans l'annexe, sont parfaites et bien équipées (tv, wifi, SdB avec accessoires), refaites il n'y a pas longtemps. Certains pourraient trouver l'extérieur un peu en manque de jeunesse. C'est vrai, mais je n'ai eu aucun cauchemar à ce propos. Je recommande vivement cet havre de paix et de chaleur humaine.

L'hotel semble "à l'abandon", la facade est trés abimée, seulement quelques chambres semble encore en service, au RdC de l'annexe dans ou se situait notre chambre des vitres étaient cassées ... Pas une belle image à l'arrivée. Néanmoins la chambre semblait propre.

Le restaurant est de qualité. Mais l'hôtel est vieillissant. L'accueil est très froid . On ne sait pas trop si il va fermer ou être rénové. Dommage car il est niché dans un superbe endroit. Et problème avec la réservation via Expedia qui indiquait 2 lits alors que la patronne nous répond qu'elle n'a que cette chambre a un seul lit, elle dit avoir toujours ce soucis avec Expedia.

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel. Très belle situation à côté de la rivière. Très beau parc arboré avec plans d'eau. Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Situé à 15mn du centre du village en passant par un très joli chemin bordant un petit canal.

Parfait pour un séjour en amoureux !!!
Un lieu idéal pour un séjour en amoureux : Équipe d’une grande gentillesse, Dîner romantique au bord de la rivière, cuisine excellente pour déguster un foie gras poêlé ou le fameux agneau du Larzac. On y dort merveilleusement bien avec le bruit de la rivière qui vous berce sous la fenêtre. Situation parfaite pour visiter les sites touristiques de la région. On garde l’adresse pour un prochain séjour romantique 😀
