Loved it and truly blown away with the hotel, rooms and staff. Booked for a work event including overnight and myself and the team couldn’t have wished for a better venue

A lovely hotel. The staff were excellent and ready to serve all our requests. Great location on the quay and close to the town. We would definately stay there again.

No air conditioning in our room and quite pricey for 1 nights stay without breakfast. Wouldnt have paid price if not attending Ed Sheeran gig. Lovely hotel but not worth price tag

Superb stay, as usual

We always love staying at the Salthouse. Our stay was superb, as always. Staff are great, and really glad parking seems to be a lot better now by having staff park your car in an overflow car park for you
Steve, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The hotel is right by the harbour with a pretty view. The street in front is one way and not a thoroughfare, so was quiet. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the centre of town, and there are many pubs and restaurants close by. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

I love staying here, its a beautiful hotel. Great views of the harbour, and walking distance to some bars & restaurants. This time i brought the dog, and they left a toy and bowl for him, which is such a cute touch. Highly recommend it

Beautiful hotel, would return.

Hotel was beautiful, it was our 10 year anniversary and we were delighted to find we’d been given a complimentary upgrade to a copper bath room. Staff were lovely, only had breakfast at the hotel as we dined out in the evening but breakfast was great. Cocktails were also great.

Pleasant stay

Pleasant stay, room a bit smaller than anticipated but comfortable. We thought it perhaps a little overpriced. We had a Marina view room with small balcony, lovely outlook.

Very satisfied customer

The hotel is situated in a great location overlooking the marina. The valet parking was a great service. The restaurant was superb and they catered very well for my wife's coeliac condition. The room was wonderful. Would definitely return if ever in that area.
Richard, 2-night trip

Great but where's the Copper Bath?

As wonderful as always. But a room with a Copper bath and Balcony - that I've been lucky enough to be upgraded to in the past - would be the ULTIMATE gift.
Ingrid, 2-night trip

Great pet friendly hotel

Great pet friendly hotel. Very modern, spacious and comfortable room. My only observation was that there was no means to regulate room temperature, either up or down. It was good that it was a typical British summer and wasn’t too hot.
Henry, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Quirky inside with great service from everyone. Room was overlooking harbour and was really nice. Good area, parking on first come basis was ok as we arrived early. The Grazing Sheep cafe was a hundred yards around the harbour and did excellent breakfast (better than £14 pp at hotel). Had delicious and good value dinner in hotel on 5-6pm deal (£29 pp for 3 course dinner with glass of wine or cocktail included).

Annual winter break

we love this hotel and stay here every year if we can when visiting relatives. We were slightly disappointed with the room as it had limited storage and was very dark with insufficient lighting. However, the service, as always, was excellent, and the hotel itself is always inviting and smart. We will be back but will be asking for a different room! It's lovely to stay at Christmas when it's decorated.
