Very nice stay!!
The check in process was quick and friendly. I appreciate that they sent a mini fridge to my room as it didn't have one. The furnishings are dated but the room was clean. Same thing in the morning- they had system glitch but the lady was very pleasant during checkout. Also, the breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend Chateau Lacombe and have stayed there on several occasions in the past.

Overall our stay was ok. Served its purpose. They don’t have room service and only put 2 of each towel in the room. Didn’t answer the phone for room service. Beds were hard and not the most comfortable. Hotel shows its age. Breakfast is not included and is expensive for a basic buffet style meal. Most of the front desk staff were friendly. Only one of the three elevators were working which posed problems at peak times.

Good value for money and location
Very helpful staff--really appreciated how quickly our coffee machine was replaced and how kind the team member was who helped. This is an older hotel--and it shows in good and bad ways; lovely brass accents in the elevator, grand hotel lobby and lovely restaurants but older bathroom fixtures and carpet. It was value for money on the room but the extra valet parking (gated ramp to the hotel parking wasn't working) was a bit high in my opinion.

My husband and I recently stayed at Chateau Lacombe and unfortunately, our stay was quite unpleasant. We understood the hotel is old but the room was very dated and furniture extremely worn (and did not feel clean whatsoever). The cleanliness was a huge concern, from the dusty counter tops, filthy carpet, to the horrible musty odour in the room. The door also has a 2inch gap underneath making it extremely noisy all through the night. It made for a very uncomfortable stay all in all.
