There was enough space for all five of us to sleep but it was very cold with the window just being cardboarded closed. The blankets were not sufficient to keep us cozy all night, nor were they quite big enough for two to sleep in the queen beds comfortably and still have coverage. Apart from that the location was perfect, check in and check out were easy and I would stay again in warmer months.

For the price, I can't complain. It is very cheap compared to other hotels near the area. The location is excellent, in the centre of Manhattan, close to Times Square, Madison Square Garden. Our room had a kitchen, plates, glasses, pots and a small fridge. What I didn't like was the treatment received from the receptionist. She was an african american woman who was very rude when I first arrived to ask about the price. Other than that everything was okay.

The position is excellent, just 5 minutes from the Empire State Building and the MSG. The room was very small, but clean. Restrooms were cleaned daily. In the end, the room is nothing fancy and you have shared restrooms, but you get what you are paying for given the position.

This reservation was made in error and I immediately contacted Hotel.com after receiving their confirmation email. They told me the hotel was not responding, and I had to call back the next day to request my refund. The hotel refused to make any accommodation and stole my money. Hotel.com told me they have a 24-hour cancelation policy, but the hotel refused their policy, and I should call my bank to get my money back from them. This is a total scam.

Basic and costly accommodation but you pay for the central location. The Receptionist's attitude felt unwelcoming as if we (and other guests) were a hinderance to her day. A simple smile and pleasant attitude goes a long way.
