Very Good 8.0
Hotel was clean and service was excellent. It's NYC, so be aware that the basic queen room is VERY small (don't think the 300 sq ft is accurate) with the teeniest bathroom and shower. Also be aware that it is an old building that could be a bit more updated. Bluetooth speaker was dead with no charger on the hotel property - not the end of the world but annoying. Outdoor cafe is very cute but again, NYC so expect to see some mice skittering around, and the prices are a bit high for what you get. It's a great location and an adorable, cool hotel that could maybe use a refresh - but understand that these are not the easiest times for hotels so I would say it is fine.

Hotel is beautiful and in a great nyc location. The A/C however in the rooms is terribly loud and doesnt work, so if youre a cold sleeper, this isnt the place to stay.

A NYC gem of a hotel
my girlfriend felt we stepped back into history...charming, comfortable room with great attention to umbrella in the closet...robe and slippers, locally sourced bathroom niceties...great having the coffee bus for morning brew. the staff are all very friendly and welcoming...on top of the latest social protocols...gave me a mask when I left the room without mine... all in all we would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in visiting NYC and stay in a fascinating neighborhood...modestly affordable and a real treat.

We had a wonderful staycation at the High Line Hotel. The location can’t be beat, it’s within walking distance of a ton of great restaurants that are now offering outdoor dining. The room was old-timey, Immaculate, spacious, elegant and just plain lovely. It looked a little weathered but that just added to its charm. The staff was top notch, Andrea at the garden restaurant and Roslyn at check-were a pleasure to interact. Also, in terms of extra safety measures during COVID, I think they do a great job. We’ll be back.

Amazing hotel
I loved this hotel!!! The customer service was stellar. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and I loved the interesting and unique decor. It felt like I was in a comfortable home rather then a hotel. It has the most comfortable bed I ever slept in at a hotel and the towels were very plush. I would definitely stay here again.

the property location and architecture was amazing - room size was awesome for unique hotel. I wish that guests could enjoy the outdoor area without having to be seated and feel like we had to order something. Also, offer at least espresso or something after 2pm when bar opens. was frustrating. but hotel itself really great

Charming Chelsea
Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. It is an older building, so the noise level from other rooms, the hallway, and the street is louder than new construction. But, the finishes are charming and the staff are super nice and the turndown service was excellent.
