Dorsett Gold Coast
"Great service. Good value."
The Star Grand at The Star Gold Coast
"The service of all the staff on all the locations we visited were great. Some just needed polishing on their Star Look (presentation), tho behaviour were well mannered at Broadbeach & Brisbane."
RACV Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast
"Great breakfast, great facilities"
Nightelier Mermaid Waters
"The room was large with good amenities- kettle, bar fridge (with milk, water bottles), iron, pod coffee machine. Hotel also has a laundry, gym and pool. The standout was the breakfast buffet. There was a good selection of food, including fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, pancakes, bread and cooked breakfast foods. Also juices and tea and coffee. Food was replaced regularly. We ate at the bistro in the afternoon. There was a service and food were excellent. We got a 10% discount and a free drink. Wonderful value for money. There is also a secure car park for guests. My only criticism is the shower didn’t have very good pressure and our rooms were noisy due to location near the car park"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Gold Coast
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit the Gold Coast is during February, June, and August, when hotel prices are typically lower. For those on a budget, staying for at least 3 to 4 days is recommended to fully experience the region’s key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. This will allow you to enjoy options such as beach outings, family-friendly activities, shopping opportunities, and quality dining experiences. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a theme park adventure, this destination offers great value for money while catering to various interests, including LGBTQ+ friendly options and golfing.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to the Gold Coast, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you seize opportunities to save. The Smart Shopping tool in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best options available. If prices drop or new rooms become available, you'll be promptly notified to secure your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could potentially help you save on your stay at a hotel in the Gold Coast. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and could offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the cost is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that may be more affordable, helping you secure the best possible deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Gold Coast's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further afield that remains well linked. For those keen to venture into alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
