A nice hotel very close to the train station and the main street. Not a very modern hotel but good for the price.
Absolutely wonderful staff, they truly make up for the rest! The hotel is in need of modernisation, there are no wardrobes in the rooms and the furniture is extremely old. The beds are however quite comfortable and there is an ample supply of tea and coffee.
Excellent one-night stay with the family at the Grand Hotel Swansea. We had a modern, large and clean room. The building seemed well maintained and in good condition. From the hotel, it's an easy walk through the centre of Swansea to the waterfront docks and museum area. The diverse and informative National Waterfront Museum was a particular highlight. Although we drove, the hotel is just beside the train station and convenient for public transport. There is a large public parking garage adjacent. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. No complaints!
Stayed here for work and holed up in a corner of the bar for the day as I was using this to hold interviews. I was kept topped up with coffee all day by the young lady working the bar and reception, who was working really hard and is a credit to the hotel.
Thank you for the birthday card , cake and balloons. It made my daughter very happy. Breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly. Reception staff was Very friendly too.
We stayed for one night in September. The room was comfortable and tidy with all the expected facilities. Well situated to the city and the main eating areas. No parking on site, but there's an NCP car park around the corner that cost £6 per day. I would stay there again if I was visiting Swansea.
Really good location, about a 10/15 min walk from the beach but good location to bars/restaurants of an evening. Clean modern rooms, if a little sparse... but all in all really good!
Upgraded for free to a fantastic room, food amazing, staff especially barman were great, lovely tasty breakfast
