10/10 Exceptional

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious. Most places are nearby and walking distance, so location is convenient. I would definitely come again.

6/10 Good

Stayed in a family room that belongs in the ‘80s. Drab, ugly, dark decor (lots of brown) but the worst aspect was the horribly lumpy, soft ancient beds and pillows. Have not slept on a worse bed since hosteling 40 years ago. Room overall was functional but crying out for modernisation.

8/10 Very good

Decent hotel, little pricey
Another example of not getting the room/bed that was booked first time. It was fixed, thank you, but it shouldn’t be hard. Once the right room was allocated, it was very comfortable, great view over Cardiff and out to sea.

Great stay
Great stay. Hotel is really quiet, beds very comfortable. Some bits of the hotel are a bit jaded (car park especially).

8/10 Very good

The stay was ok
The room was set up nicely the carpet was slightly dirty the windows were really dirty spoiling the view as I was on the 15th Floor and corner room so has windows all around very dirty. The noise was not good either as the windows let a lot of Road noise in the finishing touches around windows my child could have done a better job which didn’t look nice. Every time switched a light on the kettle went on which was off putting there was black stain on the bed sheet. I know I am being picky but when you are paying top money and in one of there better rooms you don’t expect issues. The bed was comfy I have stayed in worse places not dirtier window though

2/10 Poor

We were two hours away it we booked this hotel. I called to make sure that the reservation was confirmed even though i received an email. They reassured me that the room is waiting for us. Upon our arrival they told us that there is no room for us and it was an error from the system and that the person that confirmed the room is a trainee and he didn't know better. Mind you it was after midnight. We waited for two hours so they can find a solution. They didn't offer some water or coffee. Two hours forward they informed me that they couldn't find us another room or another hotel so we ended up sleeping in the car in the basement! Next day they told us that they will give us back the money (like that was even questionable ) and that was it. The manager said she didn't know how to handle this as it was the first time that it happened. I repeat , the on shift manager didn't know how to handle this. I asked her to call the general manager, he picked up, they talked for 2 minutes and when i asked her to hand me the phone or give me his phone number so i can talk him personally, the general manager refused and he said to call him after two days. This was a terrible experience and it is just embarrassing for the hotel (or group) that managers do not know how to handle situations.
