The staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel is charming but bedding was not…

The staff was friendly and the room was very clean.
Henley Park is a small, historic, boutique hotel with old-school charm. I would love to have experienced the vh place during Mon-Covid times as there
Hotel doesn’t provide house keeping unless you stay 7 days or more, neither room service or restaurant. Very dissatisfied.
Friendly and professional staff. Went out of their way to be accommodating. Will definitely stay there again the next time we’re in DC.
Historic, clean, quaint hotel room. Watch out for the first step at entrance of hotel, a little higher than expected.
Great stay the staff was awesome, located in a good area of DC, will definitely stay here again, and I do recommend to anyone thinking of this hotel. Near awesome food places as well.
Great stay. Friendly staff, clean well appointed room, great bedding and quiet.
Very good, I enjoy stay in Henley Park Hotel. It was a great experience.
This property is an historic hotel. So, obviously, it is old. I truly believe that if a little money were put into some restoration of some things, it would make a big difference -- like the elevators -- or at the very least, the decor in them. The elevators must be the original ones. When you press the button for the elevator, the lights in the hallway dim. When I first arrived, there was what I believed to be the manager sitting at a small desk eating a plate of food. Normally, its not something that bothers me, but there was something about the small lobby, everyone wearing masks b/c of COVID and then seeing someone chowing down as you walk in -- it was a little strange. I was given keys to my room (cards). They didn't work. When I returned to the front desk (after riding in the elevator from the Shining), the front desk already knew they did not work before I even said a word, claiming the door motor was defective. They switched me to a new room, which was in the corner next to another room. The strange thing is that there were not a lot of people at the hotel, but they put someone in the other corner room right next to me. They must have had problems with their door as well b/c they kept turning the handle over and over again and finally went and got hotel staff to fix it. When they turn the handle to their door it sounds like someone is coming into my room. My room's TV had issues: many of the channels were fuzzy. Furniture old (not antique, just old).
This was a wonderful historical boutique hotel. The staff was personable and really showed they cared about our DC experience with wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities. Can't wait to go back!
