Great location. No parking, but we found parking in front of the hotel that was free without restrictions. The rooms are tiny - which is the citizen brand. We somehow missed it. The bed is perched against the window and walls, no way to walk around it. With two people, one has to crawl over the other to get out. That said, the price for DC and the location is moderate. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast for $25 was delicious. We would stay again for 1 night.

Absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we walked through the front door, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the young lady assisting with check-in. She was friendly, professional, and made us feel right at home. The self-check-in process was incredibly fast and easy—it took about two minutes to get our room keys. Once we got to our room, we were completely amazed. The room was modern, thoughtfully designed, and packed with features that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The highlight of our stay was the bed. We honestly slept better than we have at any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It was the best night’s sleep we’ve had while traveling, and that alone would make us want to come back. Overall, this was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We highly recommend citizenM.

After a work trip to Washington, DC I took some PTO days to see some of the sights. This hotel was absolutely perfect for sightseeing. Just a five minute walk to the Smithsonian Air & Space museum, and a walkable distance from the International Spy Museum as well. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms very modern. Perfect for solo or couples needing a cozy place to stay after DC adventures. The full room automation with lights (brightness and colors), AC, TV, and curtains on an iPad was pretty cool. Food at the downstairs bar was a decent price for the quality and quantity. The couple of times I went to the roof for pictures of the US Capital building the sushi restaurant was packed! I usually don’t sleep very well when traveling and I was very pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bed and pillows were and how well I slept. If I were to travel back to DC and have the opportunity to take some time off I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay if you're going to visit the museums, it is centrally located and you can walk everywhere even to the Warf. The breakfast might seem expensive but overall, it was worth it not having to go to Mc Donalds.

The Hotel was greatly understaffed. Food and drink lines for breakfast or before dinner drinks took at least 10 minutes in line. They offered drip coffee but it was always out so had to buy the more expensive coffee. Reserved a room that had room on each side of the bed. Instead got a bed that we had to crawl over each other to use the bathroom. I will say the staff was very friendly and polite under the circumstances. Will stay again but be diligent in room choice. And not holiday weekend.
