The bed was extremely uncomfortable, it was really hard and the pillows were like a brick. The room was absolutely freezing and the heater didn’t work. We rang through to reception to ask why it wasn’t working and they only turn them on as request but there is nothing to show this is the case. When it eventually got turned on it smelt like burning and so we had to turn it off as the smell was so strong. Not very good, expected so much form.
we stays there few nights while we visiting wales. due to covid restrictions we were not able to use facilities as swimming pool or sauna. our puppy felt good down there. room service was also good, you can use whatsapp to contact the service or reception. room clean. only disadvantage was no mini fridge so if you like to keep your puppy food fresh you stack. you gonna need to get one daily basis
Room was a bit warm no air conditioning or mobile fan otherwise ok
Second, stay within a week for a walking break and it is very efficient - check-in clean and all good
We booked into the hotel and as I suffer from asthma I could immediately notice a musty damp atmosphere when I walked through the front door, the front desk was covered with envelopes and people were coming up to the desk and asking for things when we were next to sign in . We were shown to our room but even after five minutes the overwhelming damp in the atmosphere was making it hard to breath for me so I went and had a word with reception and they showed us a few different rooms on the second floor as there were none left in the first we were told but after twenty minutes I just could not breath properly and went back to the desk and asked them if they have a damp problem and after a lot of persuasion it was agreed that they had damp problems but they were supposed to be sorted out . I told them I can't stay in your hotel I can't breath they argued with us and I had to go outside to be able to breath again ,my partner was told they wouldn't give a refund even though I had a severe reaction to their damp musty hotel ... long story..but the end is that they didn't want to refund even though it was a medical issue & not just because we didn't want stay there and we only ended up with a quarter of what we paid for the two nights .
Comfortable room but did not eat at hotel as found prices rather too high.
Excellent value, nice clean rooms and friendly staff.
All members of staff were very polite & friendly. Lots of Covid-19 precautions in place, but not over the top.
Friendly staff, clean and spacious room. Felt safe with all rules in place to help fight COVID.
