Not recommend
I would not recommend it to a friend and would not stay there again. Yes, it was one of the cheaper choices for accommodation in Miami Beach but for the money, it was not worth it. The front desk was nice and the cleaning ladies OK, but the smell in the rooms is terrible. They have a mold problem or something. The bathrooms don't have an exhaust fan, the water was cold and the only thing you can sit on in the room was the bed.

The hotel is located at south beach which is convenient if you’re visiting because every is closed by. The staff are very nice and cordials. The only thing I didn’t like was that the bathroom was dirty. The garbage can in the was full of dirty poop paper. I got so disgusted I have to throw up.

Room was nice enough, check in process was a little hectic and the key cards for the room were a little bit iffy (had to replace mine). But overall it was the perfect room for what I needed it for. Staff inside the Shelley were very kind and understanding. Good privacy, and no overbearing staff getting in our business. I will probably be back at the Shelley when I come back to visit South Beach, Miami.
