Upgrade? Read the Fine Print
Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the offer upgrade from Junior Suite to 1 BR apt on 25th floor. The suite was available immediately, the apartment would be 1.5 hour wait. We chose expediency. The suite was quite comfortably laid out, but I noticed there was no tub. My back had been out for a week, so a hot bath became all controlling. At the desk downstairs, it was very nicely brought to my attention that none of the 2xTREE properties have tubs. “How bout that apartment? Does it have a tub? If so, is it still available?” Yes and Yes. We enjoyed a late lunch, & returned to check in at 4:00. The upgrade included biometric security for entrance & elevator service. The Apt was south facing spacious, clean, and light filled. LR, BR, 1.5BA, full kitchen, WA/DR, walk in closet, AND a bonus room (home health aid?, world’s smallest guest bedroom?).There was no coffee, just decaf, but a call to the Care Line had the coffee delivered within 1/2 hour. the condos are separate from the hotel, but there was no information about “how do I get to the pool? Or hot tub? “ Never found out. It was too cold to go. ROOM SERVICE: Can we all agree that the concept of Room Service requires that there be some bit of elan in its delivery? ZERO This was packaged like delivery from Panera in a paper bag with lots of plastic. 👎 OJ: FRESH 👍 the Bagel w/Lochs & Schmear loaded, was so pretentiously Deconstructed that a Vibranium platter would be its only logical presentation.

Not the cleanest hotel
The first room they put us in the couch was stained and dirty, everything looked old, sheets were not fresh. We changed rooms which was somewhat better but still didn’t feel clean however it was significantly better than the first room. I’m disappointed they put us there in the first place. Pros were Pool was nice and staff were friendly.

Rough around the edges but serves it purpose.
Overall our experience was good. The room was accessible but not suitable for a wheelchair user. The ADA bathroom could use significant upgrades. The front desk staff was better during the day than the night. Called down 3 times to get someone to assist my disabled sister and mother with pulling the mattress out of the couch. I came back 3 hours later and it wasn’t done. Also the beds are double mattress size so it’s only comfortable for one person to sleep in opposed to queen mattresses that fit 2 people. The HIGHLIGHT of the whole hotel is the view of the bay and the pool/jacuzzis. That made the trip! Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is only good for one to two nights MAX!

Magical fairytale
It was an amazing experience from the moment I opened my car door to step out. My family and i were very much taken care of. We got upgraded to a condo, which was an amazing surprise. If you have the option to book one, I would! Everything was extremely clean and modern. The view was gorgeous both at night and during the day. I felt like a princess staying in a castle. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. I would very much stay again when visiting miami.

I cannot rate this a 4 star hotel. not by the way it looks (halls, reception ) not by the cleanliness (the room was not clean) or by what is supplied in the room ( I couldn't find a cup to rinse my mouth when I brushed my teeth), there were no water bottles in the room which today you get even in a 3 star hotel. I travel a lot for work to the US, Canada and South America so I have some experience and unfortunately I will not be staying here again. The only up side was the view I had from my room to the marina and the upgrade I got being I am a gold member on Hotels.com
