Best Miami Beach Hotels

One of the most glamorous places in the United States, Miami Beach is a patch of pure hedonism on the Florida coast. A sun worshipper’s paradise by day and a neon-drenched party hotspot by night, it's a haven of art, culture, and trendsetting nightlife. Separated from Miami mainland by Biscayne Bay, the man-made island is fringed with powder-soft sandy beaches and azure blue sea. Art Deco buildings in pastel hues grace many a street, while palm-lined boulevards are flanked with breezy restaurants and super-chic boutiques.

Things to see

Take a walk down the most iconic road in Miami Beach, the ever vibrant Ocean Drive. South Beach’s main thoroughfare, the street is lined with colorful Art Deco architecture and features the famously ostentatious Versace Mansion. A shopping and restaurant hotspot, neon lights take over from the sun come nightfall. Whether you’re taking a cruise or just fancy a look-see, Port Miami is an impressive site. Located in Biscayne Bay, the so-called "Cruise Capital of the World" is a hub of gargantuan cruise liners. For the thriving epicenter of South Beach, look to Lincoln Road Mall. Along the seven block outdoor mall you’ll find rows of tantalizing eateries, breezy sidewalk cafés and a vast array of shops and boutiques. If that hasn’t sated your urge to splurge, then Aventura Mall will. Just north of Miami Beach on the mainland, the sprawling shopper’s paradise is home to over 300 retailers and is one of the biggest malls stateside.
