Great Stay!
Our stay at "La Quinta Inn" was very good. The hotel has an incredible location just a few steps from Central Park. The staff in general are very attentive and ready to support you. Special recognition for Myriam who is in the breakfast area, incredible staff. The rooms are small but it is enough to rest in a cost-benefit ratio.

The room was clean, but very small, we did have two beds for everyone to sleep, the closet door couldn’t close because it was smaller than the hangers, the temperature was easy to control, they were plenty of outlets, but the doorstop was just stuck in, we had plenty of extra pillows and blankets, and the staff is very friendly, and the food was nice and warm, The location was just blocked from Central Park… I would definitely come back❣️

Dirty
While the front staff was friendly and helpful, the overall condition of the hotel was terrible. The hallway carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years or even vacuumed. We had to move rooms the first night because our bathroom had not been cleaned and the floor in the room was filthy. The next room was also dirty and the sheets had stains. They brought us a vacuum and sheets and we vacuumed the floor and changed the sheets ourselves!

If you need to be in the area
Check in took a very long time even though there was only one other guest in front of me. The computer system was "down" and the staff didn't seem like this was the first time. While waiting after lugging your stuff around Manhattan there is no real seating area. Also, the elevator seemed to never ber operating - also not a surprise to the front desk. Considering I was in town for the NYC half marathon the thought of climbing 11 flights of stairs with luggage was a definite no. Also raised concerns about security. On the plus side - very nice location convenient to Central Park west.

Safe and comfortable nice staff!
Great location! Very nice hard working staff. Room is tiny. Hall ways are shabby but rooms are nice. Bed was especially comfortable. Free breakfast is perfectly fine. This is a very adequate place to sleep and stay when enjoying new York. We will definitely stay there again. It’s overpriced - but not for New York City!
