Amazing place. Really appreciated the birthday wishes. Staff were great. Brilliant hotel in an ideal location. The only thing that let it down was the distinct lack of breakfast seating. I feel you should really provide proper tables for eating. Sitting on a settee is not comfortable for breakfast consumption.

From the moment you walk in you are amazed by how beautiful the property is. The staff is exceptional, so friendly and helpful. They left a birthday card and bottle of Prosecco in my room for my milestone birthday. The location is one of the best places to be in Edinburgh. Close to many restaurants, shopping and the old town. Would definitely stay there next time in Edinburgh.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Edinburgh Grand. Great location. Comfortable, well designed room. Terrific staff. Good gym. We had a snafu with the in-room washer/dryer that unfortunately didn’t drain properly. Staff was valiant in their efforts to help fix things. Had great cocktails and meal at Hawksmoor. Did not love our experience in the Lady Libertine basement space - very dark, so-so cocktails, and VERY LOUD. We had loved our dinner at Bon Vivant and had higher expectations for this sister restaurant. We have already shared with friends/family our recommendation for this hotel. Would absolutely stay here again.

Had a great stay at this hotel! It was beautiful inside and the staff was very friendly. Make sure to press the button on the knob for water temperature in the shower - otherwise it doesn’t get very warm!
