I was quite impressed with my stay here. I believe I was upgraded to a suite, so I enjoyed having a bit more space to spread out & make myself at home. The check in process was painless, and I was greeted with tea and assistance in getting my bags to the room after a late night check in.
The room was (as I mentioned) spacious -- bedroom, bathroom, and living space. THIS LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR WANDERING.
Two constructive notes about this stay:
- The couch in my suite (a pull out) is not a feasible place to sit on otherwise. You can't sit on these couches without the seat cushions coming out from underneath you. I tried tucking them back in, but they do not stay, and it is quite uncomfortable. I didn't try to pull it out because I didn't need a second bed, but as a couch this is not an amazing option.
- I also needed to do a small load of laundry on this stay, and there is a nice laundry facility. The front desk clerk initially told me that I would just need to get cash from an ATM nearby. There's a fee-free ATM around the corner, but when I returned late one day to do laundry, I realized that the machines ONLY take coins. I wasn't able to exchange/find coins as I used mobile payments for 99% of my month-long travels, and the front desk didn't have a way to exchange any of my paper money with coins, and merchants nearby were closed for the night. All that said, the front desk clerk working overnight graciously had my laundry taken care of, which was so appreciated.
