Great stay!
I usually stay at the Imperial, a sister hotel closed for renovations. So, this was the next best option. It was a great stay! I was on the 7th floor, the top wheee all the single rooms are. We had our own elevator, which made getting to and from the lobby a snap. The staff was ver helpful

I love this hotel l, it’s much more personal than a normal chain, the staff are lovely, really comfy beds and an amazing breakfast, easy to walk into the west end as well and close to St Pancras, Euston stations

Stay was very good. Location of the hotel was perfect for what we had planned. Internally the hotel was really nice, breakfast was excellent and well organised. Room was a little warm at night but bed was very comfortable

Reasonably priced (for London) stay in a fairly small room. Bathroom great, but hot was cold and cold was hot on the sink tap and shower. Not the worst thing in the world, but a bit annoying. Staff very friendly and helpful

Aging hotel with basic service but value for money
The President gives the impression of once being a luxury hotel but it has clearly seen better days. That does mean that the rooms are value for money. Their check-in procedures need an overhaul. It's a bit silly to have booked a hotel through hotels.com and provided all the necessary information and then be given a paper form to fill out by hand during check-in. This makes the whole process slow and results in long queues at check-in. I tried to check in a little before noon. They had no rooms available, which is understandable. They seem to have had a lot of people arriving before check-in time. Hotels that have this problem really need to set up some place with some privacy for people that need to perhaps change clothes or transfer things between bags before leaving their luggage.

Great location at reasonable prices
Only 3 minutes away from the Russell Square Tube station, President Hotel is a nice hotel. Centrally situated, it offers a comfortable stay at decent rates. The water station in the lobby was convenient as well as the umbrella rental (2 £ for 48 hours). The Internet speeds are very fast. There were minor issues, but nothing that was a deal breaker. i.e. the shower was a bit cramped and I had to avoid hitting the hand rail.

Amazing hotel, staff were so helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean (if i was been pedantic only small thing was the mirrors in the restaurant needed cleaning...but that was it!), food was lovely, rooms were lovely and beds were so comfy. Will definitely be returning to this hotel!

I had a single room for 3 nights including breakfast. Well located next to Russell Sq rube, which is handy for Picadilly line to Heathrow. 10 minutes walk to Holborn station. Room was quite spacious for a single. Good choice at breakfast.
