Overall nice stay. Check in was not friendly or helpful. I was handed room keys and that was it. No map of hotel amenities or how to get to my room.

ACCEPTABLE
The breakfast bar was excellent-very clean and prompt replacement of offerings. Staff throughout our stay was polite and helpful. We had one problem on our first night which was promptly remedied by the hotel. They also threw-in a free meal for four people off the bar menu for our inconvenience. Tv in our room was not working properly but we did not report the problem until we checkout.

Good choice
Great hotel downtown. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good with decent options. Great bartenders at the bar. Entertaining and fun. Would choose to stay here again. Its above the fire station but it was not a disturbance.

Good location, comfy beds, but an issue with AC
The hotel location was fantastic for walking to the National Mall area. It was clean, comfy beds, and had a nice bar. My only complaints - 1. The AC compressor was SUPER loud in the room. We weren't able to sleep with it on so we had to turn the air off at night. We stayed in January so it only got hot late in the night, but I wouldn't stay in the summer for that reason. The maintenance man that came to check the compressor to see if he could get it quieted down said they were replacing that whole system. I'd stay again once they get that fixed. 2 - shower pressure is meh. Otherwise, loved our stay.
