Nice hotel
The location and service are great. We had trouble with the shower turning cold, however when we told the staff they were very friendly and said they’d take care of it. It’s a nice hotel but a lot of the decoration choices are made to look nice rather than be nice so it looks better in pictures than is.

Lovely room in a good location, welcoming staff and overall very comfortable. Only negative was it was a little lacking in the tea, coffee and milk, not enough milk for two people to have a beverage with milk.

not functioning ventilations, cramped toilet, initially safe in the room did not work trying to investigate why lead to discovery of much dust which was also under the bed. The continental breakfast was probably the poorest we have ever experienced. On the positive side very friendly personnel & fair service.

The Gonville is a beautiful hotel. Centrally located in Cambridge, it has a mixture of elegance and style. The rooms are very unique and brings back that feel of what UK hotels are renowned for. Lovely hotel in a good location the rooms are really nice, the only down side is that the breakfast service was really slow, the breakfast itself was lovely but it took ages before they took our order we waited a really long time even to get a cup of tea, also couldn't get in the car park and had trouble getting into the other car park they suggest you use.
